THE CLINICAL FOUNDATION

A nurse and first responder who became a home care leader.

Michael Malecki’s career has taken him from emergency medical response to hospital nursing, healthcare administration and business ownership. That background gives him a practical understanding of the needs that can follow a catastrophic injury, including the transition from hospital care to rehabilitation and life at home.

As the founder, owner, president and CEO of M & M Home Care, Michael leads a Michigan organization providing therapy, nursing, attendant care and specialized evaluations. His work centers on supporting the people who deliver care and the patients and families who depend on it.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Experience across emergency care and healthcare leadership.

Emergency medical services

Michael spent nearly a decade with Detroit Fire Department EMS, responding to medical emergencies and traumatic injuries. That work established an early foundation in patient assessment, teamwork and responsibility under demanding conditions.

Registered nursing since 1992

His nursing background includes emergency and trauma care at Henry Ford Hospital, Sinai-Grace Hospital and St. John Hospital. These roles brought him into direct contact with patients and families facing serious and complex medical needs.

Healthcare administration

Michael’s earlier leadership roles include work with the University of Michigan, Garden City Hospital and Henry Ford Health. His experience connects the clinical and operational responsibilities involved in delivering healthcare.

LEADING M & M HOME CARE

Care has to work in everyday life.

Michael founded M & M Home Care in 2014. The company’s focus on Michigan Auto No-Fault home care and rehabilitation reflects the continuing needs of people whose lives have changed after a serious Motor Vehicle Crash.

Recovery continues through ordinary routines: moving around the home, managing personal care, communicating with family and participating in meaningful activities. M & M Home Care brings multiple disciplines together to address those needs, with services reviewed for each individual referral.

Michael’s leadership emphasizes dependable communication, responsible documentation and respect for the patient’s home and choices. These expectations support collaboration among nursing, therapy and attendant care staff and the wider treating team.
