Christine Sylvia, MS, OTR/L, CAPS, CBIS, ECHM, is Director of Therapy Services and a Home Modification Specialist at M & M Home Care. Her leadership responsibilities include therapy standards, program development, collaboration among disciplines and review of clinical documentation.
Her clinical work connects rehabilitation with the demands of life at home. In home modification evaluations, she considers a person’s function, mobility and environment to identify changes that may support accessibility and participation in daily routines. She works with treating professionals, families and the people involved in planning those modifications.
Christine also performs attendant care evaluations and assessments of service needs, and provides cognitive rehabilitation for people with Traumatic Brain Injuries. Her work addresses what a person needs to do in everyday life and the support or environmental changes that may help them do it.
