Director of Therapy Services & Home Modification Specialist

Christine Sylvia

Christine serves as Director of Therapy Services at M & M Home Care, where she provides executive oversight of all clinical therapy programs, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and related rehabilitative services. In this leadership role, she is responsible for clinical standards, program development, interdisciplinary coordination, and quality assurance across the organization. Her oversight ensures that every therapy plan is medically appropriate, functionally goal-driven, and supported by thorough documentation.

A recognized authority in Home Modification Evaluations for individuals with catastrophic and life-altering injuries, Christine’s work is grounded in comprehensive functional assessment and evidence-based recommendations designed to promote safety, accessibility, and long-term independence. She works closely with treating providers, contractors, families, and legal teams to ensure that environmental modifications are clinically justified and properly aligned with the patient’s long-term needs.

Christine holds advanced professional designations including Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders, Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) through the Brain Injury Association of America, and Executive Certification in Home Modifications from the University of Southern California. These credentials reflect specialized training at the intersection of rehabilitation science, environmental design, and neurological injury.

In addition to home modification evaluations, Christine conducts Attendant Care Evaluations, Need for Service Assessments, and provides cognitive therapy interventions for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). Her assessments are comprehensive, clinically sound, and structured to withstand scrutiny in complex medical-legal environments. Under her leadership, M & M Home Care’s therapy programs remain focused on measurable outcomes, patient safety, and long-term functional independence.
